Client Internet Connection

By jldavis ·
I am trying to setup an internet sharing device (Nexland ISB 100E). I have it set to I can connect to internet from the server but I can't get any of the clients to connect. I did an ipconfig/all on one of the clients. The IP address of the client was different than the IP address leased to it by the DHCP server. It showed that autoconfiguration was enabled on the client. None of the clients can access the server after the Nexland ISB is installed. The server is able to connect to the internet however.

looks like problem with your network segment,
your ip range of server seems to be different from client. R the client able to ping with each other and what about server is it able to ping to other systems on the network..?? check and revert.

firstly it will be good to determine the IP subnet is homogeneous in all NIC's. in this case i assume 192.168.0.x is the subnet of the clients. if the server can access the net then it means that there is a valid IP necessary for communication between the server and the outside world. what you will need to check is whether the IP of the server is the gateway IP for the clients. this should fix the problem:)
