Cloud Storage Security Challenge

By Louis_A ·
Cloud storage gateway Nasuni is offering a $5,000 prize to anyone that can break through their 256-bit encryption. If no one can identify the secret file, stored on an Amazon S3 cloud, Nasuni will donate the prize money to the Free Software Foundation.

Easy money then

Ring up one of their $10 an hour employees, go halves for the key.

It's this sort of blinkered approach to security that has left us in the mess we are in. On top of that I can use 256 bit encryption outside of the cloud, so what's the point of the exercise.

Feeble minded FUd oriented PR bollocks.
