I got a 2010 calendar (produced by HP) in the mail today from a supplier. Every day of the year has a special note and this past Tuesday was listed as “H.A.L. 9000 Became Operational, Urbana, Illinois (1997)”. So I apologize to Col for missing his birthday.
Today is “Dress Up Your Pet Day”.
Last Thursday must have been for maecuff. It was “I’m Not Going to Take It Anymore Day”. Although 25-March is “Kick Butts Day” which might be for her, as well
For Canadians, 23-Feb is “Curling is Cool Day”. Though I suppose that might be for hairdressers, too.
I think that the best one I’ve come across so far is 3-March – “What If Cats and Dogs Had Opposable Thumbs? Day”.
