Common Desktops/File Access

I need a Win2K laptop to share common file access and desktops. A local profile and networked/Domain profile?
Any help wouild be appreciated...

Common Desktops/File Access

I am not totally clear on what you want to do but you can create multiple hardware profile on a laptop so at boot it decides to join the network/domain (share files, resources, log-in script) or boot without looking for network connections. Go to control panel > network and dial up > network ID > hardare > hardware profiles.
Copy the current profile and rename it. Reboot and choose the newly named profile. Make what ever profile changes, file access, profile choices in the new profile you want. Now you have 2 different profiles. Hope this helped some
