    Communication programs for Win2K

    I need to use a different program besides HyperTerminal or pcAnywhere to dial into a BBS type of device. Can anyone make a recommendation for a program that will run on Windows 2000?

      Well, there is ProComm Plus (also now a Symantec product so it’s a cousin to pcAnywhere) on the commercial side.

      On the shareware side, there is a product called NetTerm that works pretty doggoned well for a $20 shareware product. Plus you can download it and try it for free (I usually use http://www.tucows.com for that sort of thing).
