Community Software Needed

I recently looked at some stuff in this area, Not sure if these will offer the kind of thing you are looking for, but they are all worth a look.

Lotus QuickPlace - Team and community software, with conferencing, whiteboard, doc sharing etc. Some features need other Lotus products such as Sametime, and may need a Notes based infrastructure, but worth a look. Also, rentable on-line - take a look at the Lotus Website:

Rebus Worldview - Microsoft based (COM+, IE, SQL Srv, Outlook, Exchange, Netmeeting used for various things). Good community and sharing platform, very full featured, fits neatly if you have an MS infrastructure. Also acts as a kind of knowledge repository and corporate portal. See are also a number of facilities that are rentable on-line, either by the day, or on a longer term basis. All offer similar functionality and all are pretty reasonably priced. In fact, if you can tolerate adverts, some are even free. See:
