Compatibility moderner drive with older one

    by danielderondacarac ·

I have an Intel NUC 8i3BEH.
    It has a SATA 6.0 Gb/s Port
I would like to install a compatible new ssd sata disk.
The ones which Intel gives as compatible do not exist any longer. I guess the newer disks of this kind are quicker (have A X00 gB/s specification).
What should I think of, if I want to buy a compatible disk?

    Tahnk you.

All the NUCs I encounter with laptop size drive spaces have never been picky about the drive we install.

I guess I was doing it all wrong?

In short, go get that new drive. Done.

I think you can add any modern day device unless your ports don’t allow or compositable with it.
      Just get a new drive
