I was given an old (I do stress old) Dell by my mom and her co-worker. It was getting thrown out by her company and they are the two tech people there. Well as time has gone by I have had lots of problems with it and now I need to wipe it out and reinstall Windows. I currently have XP SP2 on it and 730MB of free hard disk space out of 9.31GB. I can’t uninstall software etc. because these files have become corrupt courtesy of a virus. My mom let me borrow a COPY of her XP SP2 cd but there is no product key listed and she didn’t have time to find it before she decided to stop talking to me because of a problem she is having with my older sister which adds to my frustration. I located the current product key of the installed OS but it doesn’t work with the install cd. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO and my pc is in DESPERATE need of a good cleaning.
