Complicated auto population of field in MS Access forms

By joeyeavey ·
Hi. I am trying to get a text field called 'CaseNo' to autopopulate in a form called 'TravelMedHx' when that form is opened. The tricky part is that the form can be accessed via two other forms. I would like the CaseNo field on the TravelMedHx form to be autopopulated with the CaseNo from either the TravelHx form or the DataEntryForm, depending on which is used to open the TravelMedHx form. I am thinking that this probably involves building an After Event for each of the command buttons on the two original forms, but I am stuck. Also, I will need to add in some sort of If Not Null statement, as I don't want already populated fields to be overwritten. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
