    Computer BIOS

    by kees_b ·

My computer simply won’t boot into BIOS, I’ve went through windows update and security < restart < advanced options < uefi settings, I’ve taken out my CMOS battery and waited half an hour before trying again and I just can’t get into my bios. I’m trying to disable cpu virtualization. There is nowhere online where I can find help, it’s desperately needed.

The usual way to boot into the BIOS is by pressing some key (like Del, Esc, F2, F10) early during the boot. Check your motherboard manual to see that it is in your PC.

There should be a way to boot into the BIOS when there is no Windows installed. Like when it runs Linux or when there is no hard disk.
