    configure proxy setting

    Trying to Configure Proxy Setting for Streaming Media (Windows Media). Instructions are to : “Click Use Proxy, and then click Configure Proxy Settings. Enter the appropriate proxy information, click OK, click OK, and then click OK.”
    What is…the “appropriate proxy information” that I’m suppose to type in? “Name your proxy hostname and port” ?

      that depends,
      if you are on a corporate network, contact your administrator.
      if you are home and use a firewall, enter the information of the firewall.
      if you are direct connected to the internet leave it blank, or if there is a option similar to “use settings from internet explorer” use that one. Else contact your isp.
