So I have followed the advice from the forum, and still cannot get my Vista laptop and Xp desktop talking to eachother. I have my desktop IP set to manual and one less (consecutive i know) than my laptop. Both connection Icons say that they are connected without even a low connectivity sign. Yet I cannot view either of my computers from the other one. Any ideas guys.
