I have a windows 2000 server that autologons with administrator. The server has a nic card. This is a vendor provided server with their financial application. Adding a microsoft client for netware, a novell client or GSNW is out of the question.
Problem: We need to integrate this server into our novell network.I can see all our network severs and connect to them. The user needs to save excel spreadsheets to our novell network. I can show the user how to go to nework neighborhood and map a drive. He will then be prompted for his novell login and password. I don’t want the user to do this. Is there anyway to prompt the user for his novell username and password after the desktop comes up? If a login script is suggested, please tell me where to place it since this is a MEMBER server and not one with active directory or on a domain. Thank you.
