Connecting two PC's at two different pre

By ashutosh.raina ·
My requirement is to connect two PC's at two different office premises, seperated at a distance of about 10 kms, with dedicated telephone line cables between them.

The data to be transmitted has to be high speed with absolutely no data loss.
I have an option of using Lease Line Modem at both the ends, but want to have a cheaper,as well as a reliable solution.

2 cisco 350 bridges with parabolic dish. 60 ft mast and 50 ft of antenna cable will give you 11Mb
end to end. Just remember to configure your security features properly.

One possibility is ADSL at each end with a VPN between. You may want to have ISDN as a backup, depending on how critical the link is.

High speed with ZERO data loss = $$$$$$.

Frame-relay with ISDN BRI as a backup might fill the order. Another cause for concern is that there are only two computers. Ideally, you would want some redundancy on your hardware as well as your communication link. Power surge could leave your comm-link unscathed and one of your computers a smoking paperweight.
