Connecting W2k Pro clients to NT Serv 4

Please someone, write to me about W2k Pro
client PC’s authenticating to, and joining, NT
Server 4.0 domains. I can’t get the W2k PC’s to
fully qualify with the NT server, nor connect to
printers or shares by any other means than
entering the NT server’s UNC address at the
W2k Run line. What’s the trick?
Should I throw in the towel and make life
easier by replacing W2k Pro with Win 98?
