Consulting Tax Question

By Chris Joseph ·
I know that as a consultant I'm expected to pay estimated quarterly taxes. Does anyone know the form to use for this.

Also does anyone have any info on this from a state level. Minnesota in particular.

Thanks

Check out this IRS web page for more information that should help you out.

Minnesota looks to be more complicated.

If I read it right, if you have no employees or "taxable" sales, you don't need to file and pay quarterly taxes.

Some services are required to collect sales tax, so you may be caught by that.
