Contacts poser

By john ·
I have a manager with two secretaries who wish to share her contact list, ideally having real-time access to it as she updates it. So I would like to know the best way of all three of them being able to update and constantly share a common contact list (they use either Outlook 97 or 2000 on an Exchange 5.5. NT server).

Also, on that basis, does anyone know of a solution (or an plug-in) that could provide similar firm-wide access to a communal address book?

Many thanks.

John

I think you'll find all of your answers here:

John,
Have the manager right click on her contacts, select properties > permissions and add the two secretaries with appropriate permissions.

Then each secretary will go to file > open > other users folder select their manager and under Folder Type > change it to Contacts.

As for a communial address book. Under public folders > All Public Folders. Create a new folder called Contacts (it might already exist) and give everyone rights to it.

That should do it.

Good Luck
