    Hi, in win98 to edit startup prgms it was msconfig, what is the command or process in win2k. Thanks.

      There is no such command in W2k. You can either use 3rd party programs or microsoft’s TweakUI or you can edit it manually in the registry: HKLM/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/run. All the startup items are listed here and you can delete what you dont want to auto start.

        Thank you that worked wonderfully, though you would think Microsoft would include a nice tool like msconfig in their supposedly best version of windows.LOL Thanks again.
