Full acrobat version doesnt work

Hi Paul, unfortunately the full acrobat version doesn't have that option. Any other solutions?

What software are you using?

by DC_GUY In reply to Conversion of *.pdf file ...

The full Adobe suite (not the free reader) should do it. Some browsers and some e-mail programs will also do it. Other than that, .pdf is not a universally supported format.

If you're doing this on a Mac either of those techniques will almost certainly get it right. You'll probably find the Mac versions of other packages do it as well, since Apple rules the artist/publishing/photo/graphics sector.

If you're on a PC you may have to try one of the standard workarounds, like e-mailing it to yourself, or converting it first to .jpg and then to .html, depending on the software you're using.

My company refused to install it, we're still on 2000. My personal computer is a Macintosh.

The links actually change according to whatever server is using the least load.

What you want to do, is when you go to the site I posted, just click on the icon that looks like a floppy or one that says download.

version?

by misscrf In reply to Conversion of *.pdf file ...

It must depend on what version on acrobat you have. You have to have Adobe Acrobat, not just the reader, to convert files. Give up publisher for web, it sucks. In the mean time, copy the pub file contents to word, save it, and then save it as html. That might work/may need some tweaking.

Try this site for online conversion of pdf to html. I havent tested this, so I dont know how well it will work...

good luck
