Converting 123 97 Edition of Lotus workb

I am not sure what file standard a lotus .123 file is, lotus spreadsheets are usually .wks or .wk?

I sugest you use Lotus to convert the spreadsheet file to a .wks format (go file save as, then select the appropiate file type)

Then in Excel, go File open, in the Open dialog box find the boc labeled 'Files of Type'

Select 'Lotus 123 files' from the list, point the open dialog box to the folder your file is stored in. Open your Lotus file with Excel.

Excel has convert filters. your Lotus spreadsheet will be converted to a fully working Excel spreadsheet.

Note: your Lotus macros will not be converted to Excel Macros, but Excel will support and run your Lotus Macros

Hope this helps
