COPY Command.

By rodneyspoon ·
Hi, i was wondering if it was possible to use "copy.exe" to copy files to multiple destinations? i know its possible to copy from multiple sources, but is it it possible the other way round?

if not is there any other way i can do it through the command line? maybe xcopy? if so can you show and example of the syntax?

Thanks in advance.

It's not possible from one command

... even at the command line or using xcopy. You would need to issue multiple commands to copy to multiple locations.

What do you want from something that is nearly 20 years old?

by ThumbsUp2 In reply to Thanks

Who would have thunk it way back when COPY was invented that someone might actually need to copy TO more than one location at a time?

You might be able to find 3rd party software to do it for you, but that wasn't your original question.
