Copying DVD to DVD

By john.cb1 ·
Does anyone know what software I need to copy DVD to DVD.

I have just tried it and there was not enough room on my blank cd(700Mb/80min)

Do you know how to do it?

John

well, as you found out, DVD's hold over 4 times as much as a CD rom (>4GB vs 700MB).
I searched www.tucows.com for 'dvd dupe' and found many shareware and freeware programs that look like they will do what you want. if you can buy something, checkout RecordNow Max, $49 at www.sonic.com

Another thing I would like to point out is that you will need a DVD burner and blank DVD media. CD-Rs and CD-RWs WILL NOT WORK.

I use DVD copy plus from 321 Studios to rip DVD's and then burn to CD [as I am waiting for the prices to drop further on DVD burners. An example of a DVD rip and CD burn is LOTR which took 4 CD's compared to the one DVD.
