Copying User Profiles

By Nathan Serior ·
I have a small home network w/ one Win2K server acting as a domain controller. The server got badly hacked (don't ask...), and I had to rebuild the domain. My user account in the old domain was OldDomain\Nathan, and is NewDomain\Nathan in the new domain. When I went to System Properties/User Profiles to copy the old profile to the new account, the old profile was listed as "Account Unknown" and was greyed out, so I couldn't copy it. I guess my question is, how can I copy user profiles between domains?

Try this http://www.jsiinc.com/SUBJ/tip4600/rh4631.htm

hope this will help. B4 posting any questions advise you to do the following. For exemple your question.
Go to ->www.google.com->enter key word->account unknown copy profile->results->click on link groups->result page http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=account+unknown+copy+profile&sa=N&tab=wg&meta=

This always works. If you have any IT problem you are not the first one to encounter it and if someone else has encounter it changes are that this someone has asked the same question in one of thounsands news groups in the web and all you have to do is to use google's search using keywords related to your problem.
