I just read the recent email from Techrepublic with regards to corporate email policies. Many American companies operate with sites based in many countries. Why can’t the recommended policies take into account the monitoring laws which exist in manyof these countries. Ie. It is illegal to monitor or read employees email in France. Even if you have the employees permission. Lets start thinking more on a global basis!
