Corrupt User Profile

by berls . Updated 24 years, 11 months ago

Can someone please tell me how I recover from a corrupt user profile situation in W2K Professional? He received an error message that his user profile was corrupt or missing. Windows subsequently loaded with a new default profile, based in the c:\documents and settings\TEMP(?) directory. We don’t have a backup of his working profile, and I can’t figure out a way to create a new profile for him. I’ve tried what I thought were a couple of methods, but every time he logs in, he gets the same message and we’re back to a default configuration.

Thanks very much for any help you can give me.

Regards,

Jeff Berlin
