There are a number of tools available to do what you are looking for. Unfortunately, what you are looking for is most likely not going to come free. This link, http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=performance+monitor&tg=dl-2001, should show you a list of tools at various prices. You can also check out SiteScope at http://www.freshwater.com.

You can use performance monitor. It should be available on your NT and Win2k servers under Administrative Tools.

You can monitor the "Processor" performance object and the "Memory" performance object using Performance Monitor's Performance Logs and Alerts. These logs can be started and stopped at any time and will run in intervals that you configure (in your case, every hour) as well as how long you wish the monitoring to run. You can then go back at any time and view the data that you have collected.

The help menu on Performance Monitor will show you how to configure this feature.

Good Luck
