Hi guys,
I just replaced a mobo that was faulty after a power surge. I put in the processor using thermal paste, turned on the comp, went into the BIOS and the cpu temp quickly goes from 70 to sitting around 80. 80 Seems rather hot to me! I did notice the Core Voltage changes from between 1.3 – 1.4 volts. It doesnt stay steady like on my machine.
Is 80 degrees C hot for a p4 3.0 Ghz?
