CPU usage 100%

As soon as I start the print spool service, my cpu usage goes to 100%, when I stop it my laptop works fine, what could be the problem and how do i sort this out

Laptop computers are notorious for doing that.

So don't worry, it usually drops down once the printer starts.

HP printers do that and just delete them and reinstall and only install what I really need for the printer. Look in task manager and see what is using the most processing power. maybe it is something entirely different, possibly even your anti virus. also if you need more help please tell us what os you are running and what printer it is. The members might also want a little more info on the laptop - ram, processor, etc.

I uninstalled the Hp drivers and everything worked fine, thanks for the post it helped.
