Id like to know whether there is software which can be installed on my Windows computer to stream a tv station through my house to my Pioneer plasma via a dongle/router. Its really hard to find anything in Google, because noone has really said anything about it. What ive looked up so far is that you need to get a media reciever such as a Logitech Squeezebox which connects to your tv/hifi system to stream media from your computer…Also, on the Microsoft website, it was said that you can use Microsoft Media Encoder to stream from computer to computer but im wondering if this can be used in a way to stream through your router on a certain frequency so that that channel can be picked up by my plasma or Topfield set-top-box. But if there’s no way of doing this, could someone give a brief description of the reason?
