You are asking about apps that are over 20 years old and … 32 bit apps which are not going to function properly on today’s Windows.

Even if you must run that old app, you would be forced to run it on the OSes that it was known to work on and not Windows 10 or 11.

But if all you need is macros, look at https://alternativeto.net/software/autohotkey/

I use AHK and it’s great.
