Create vcard from web app

Is there html code to create a hyperlink so that a vCard is created? What code do you use to have the web site generate a .vcf file? I have a web application pulling from SQL, would like to offer the option to save info as a vcard to Outlook contacts.

There are several vCard tools for the Linux environment available from http://tuxmobil.org/vcard.html.

You may be able to adapt the source code from Alf Lovbo's PHP vCard Creator, available from http://www.stab.nu/vcard, to suit your purposes in the Windows environment. It is released under the GNU General Public License - for details, see http://www.opensource.org/licenses/gpl-license.php

The module is well documented and easy to read, if you know a smattering of PHP. If not, you can find the manual at http://zend.com/manual/index.php

Extract the file vcard.inc containing the PHP source code from vcard.tar.gz using e.g. WinRAR and open it using WordPad.

Unfortunately I don't know a thing about PHP and can't spend my time learning anything new. I need something in C# or VB if that is even possible. Thanks for your response.

Open source vCard generator
