Creating View In SQLServer2000

By tunde ·
I need an assistance on the SQL error encountered in the cause of creating an SQL View. I want to merge records from Three(3) tables by creating a UNION View. After writing the SQL Statement, I am unable to save the view. Whenever I tried to save I always have the following error message - "View definition includes no output columns or includes no items in the FROM clause". Kindly assist in the solution to this problem.

Creating View

Just go to the views branch in the Databse branch of any database or the database in which you want to create the view .
Now right click on it to create a new view, then a new window is opened , again right on the upper most window add tables and then select the columns u want in the view, click save to save the view.Once it is created you can always change it, like addind filters, adding tables, removing tables etc.
