Crystal reports exporting to excel

Running Crystal Reports 8.5 on a Windows 2003 server acting as a terminal server for remote desktop users, with office 2000. When opening a web based report on the system and exporting to excel, we receive an error message stating that we have a CRAXDRT.DLL error, and the export fails. In the drop down box for choosing file types during this export the entry is listed as ‘Microsoft Excel’. If we attempt the same export job but running version 8.0 of Crystal the entry shows as Excel 5.0 and the export works with no problems.

We need to use version 8.5 on this box for other applications to function correctly, changing the version to 8.0 has a knock on effect on other applications.
