Does anyone know how I can add a button to one of the IE toolbars? I’m running IE5.5 on Windows ME, and my isp did all the usual tricks with plastering their name & homepage of choice onto my browser. As soon as I took them away, I lost the ability to get a popup progress window of how much time I’ve spent online (I use prepaid services, because they don’t drop me off as often). I have the url for the page, but my links and favourites are already setup pretty much at optimum, so I don’t wantto go that way, plus ideally I’ll need to run a script to enter logon id & password to access this thing. I have a whole toolbar of buttons from external programs like msn, realplayer, yahoo, copernic etc, and it has room, but how do I get in to create the thing?
PS. I have xteq but the custom button feature in that would need the switches to open a new window & specify the url, which I don’t know.
