Customised options in SBT application

On windows 95 and Windows 95, I successfuly customised some options in the custome menu of the software – SBT. With windows XP and Windows 2000, these options are not working. I achied that with some entires in the autoexec.bat. With Windows 2000or Windows XP how can I achieve this.
