Customize the Logon Promt

By Aaron_Wurthmann ·
Just for "sh@$!ts and grins" I would like to custimze the logon on prompt for one or more of my users. I'm not trying to edit the fields just the Bitmap images like instead of Windows 2000 I put Windows 2002 or something like that.

Does anyone know where these files might be located on Windows 2000/NT/98.

At least in Windows2000 and WindowsNT, the file is called logon.scr and is located in the c:\winnt\system32 directory.

Nope, if that screen saver file is it I can't edit it. But I don't think that it is, I looked at the code to the scr hoping' that it would lead me to something I could edit. But it was no good.

Thanks Paul.
