Customizing paper size in Windows XP

By carlosmelara ·
Recently I upgraded a system from Win98 to XP Pro. But now I have a problem. The invoices system developed in Visual Foxpro6 which is installed only recognizes the standard paper sizes (letter, A4, etc.) I have discovered that in Windows 98 the invoices system used a customized paper size what is not available in the printer settings of Win XP. How can I set by default an customized paper size in Win XP Pro? is there another solution?

Customizing paper size in Windows XP

This should be part of the printer driver itself, and not XP.

Did you install the printer manufactures driver for XP?

If the printer manufacture does not offer a XP driver, you likely need a new printer that has XP drivers.

The 'default' XPprinter drivers seem to have a common denominator of ONLY allowing the default paper sizes for the region.

Thank you. I have tried with the last driver and problem remains. The epson support said that is not problem from the printer nor the driver. Microsoft support said is not problem from the OS but the software and I shoud call to the developer to solve the problem. Thanks again
