      The usual question or query is from the IT staffer tasked with inventorying the company’s IT software and hardware. Sometimes they get tasked with making the network map.

      Not one tool I’ve seen got it right. And yes, you don’t expect such to find and catalog all the machines in the spares closet.

      Why this is this way? Because the PC was never designed to report such long ago. Most of what you see is a hack job.
