Data entry Form in Excel

By crimsonk91 ·
I've read just about everything on creating a form for data entry in excel. All great tips by the way, but what I'm looking for is creating a form that can add data to a spreadsheet in specific cells on the sreadsheet and possibly over a network. Is this possible?

As per the USPs outlined till now the next edition of Office is staped to have online integration to battle Google Docs.
On a less online note there is a feature for Data entry present in excel called Form which you can activate through usage of the Form button in the ribbon.
You can add it to the ribbon by:
Office Menu -> Excel Options ->Customize on Left Side
From the "Choose Commands from:" drop-down select "Commands not in the Ribbon".
In the list below it select "Form..."
Click OK.
For the table which you've created, preferrably with the top most row as the header row, click the Form button.
