Data Packets

When a computer sends an encrypted message to another computer, how does the receiving computer know it's encrypted? What is added to the data packet to indicate encryption? Can anyone supply a diagram to show how this is done?

Hi,

what kind of Data Packets ?
Protocoll packets like : SMB
SSL comunication chanel between WebServer and Client.
