Daylight Savings time offset

Whenever the daylight saving time box is unchecked the appointments in Outlook are in the correct timeslot. When we check the box they go an hour earlier. There is an Exchange 5.5 Server in place but each workstation is affected independantly with the same problem. This calendar is a Public Calendar. Thanks.
