Given that 2008 R2 is no longer supported, I am looking to upgrade my DCs to 2012 R2. I have 2 DCs, both virtual, that I want to upgrade. I am not looking to change the servers they reside on. I have been hesitant to make the change because it has been a while since I’ve have to do this. I am hoping I am not overlooking any considerations or steps as I move forward and was hoping I could get some tips before I proceed. Adprep and backups are on my list but I feel like I’m still missing something. Thank you in advance.
