deactivate USB to fix issue – realise mobo doesn’t have PS2 slots?

Okay, so get your laughs out now, but this is a serious mistake.

Purchased a new PC today, put it all together fine, went to install XP. Original problem was, getting the error during XP installation IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. One solution found on the net, was to disable all devices (including USBs), which I did, however I didn’t realise my motherboard doesn’t have PS2 connectors, so I can’t do ANYTHING!

Tried to reset CMOS, does not work by taking out battery and restarting, nor BIOS jumper. Does anyone have any solutions to this disaster I am in?

Thanks in advance.
