Default expire date on incoming emails

In outlook 2003, I would like to assign an expire date to incoming email using rules. I don't think this is a default action, but it sounds like I can create a custom action to do this.
Would anyone know how?

Use the Rules to sort your emails so that the ones you wish to automatically expire are sorted seperate from those you wish to keep.
(run rule when email arrives/and when subject = or from "xy" etc)
"move to folder AB <set folder name>

Right click folder AB
Click properties
Click auto archive tab
Check "Clean out items older than (select the appropriate length of time (days, weeks, months) for expiration)
Select Permanently delete
