Default folder in NT Explorer

It is possible to start Explorer with switches, they work by first creating a shortcut. Here is an example of the syntax.

From your Windows Explorer shortcut right-click it, and select the Properties command. When the Windows Explorer Propertiessheet appears, click the Shortcut tab. Then, add the /Select switch after the /e switch so that the Target text box reads
C:\Windows\Explorer.exe /n,/e,/select,C:

Just make a shortcut to explorer with the command line %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe c:\my documents

Where My Documents is the folder you want it to open in.
