    DEL file format

    What type of program do I need in order to open a file that has a “*.del” extension. I am using WIndows 98.

      hi,
      Never heard of such a file extension, i tried searching on my win98 system and found none. It could be some files from some program that was installed on the PC.
      Try you luck at searching the registry using regedit.exe for and ‘del’ registrations

      You may want to try to open it with NotePad. This may give you some insight into which application generated the file. You can do this with any file. I have found some handy functions in .dlls this way.
