Delayed Write Failed

by gtmead . Updated 23 years, 7 months ago

I am receiving the following error message

“windows – delayed write failed”

“Windows was unable to save all the data for the file…….” “The data has been lost. This eerror may be cauesd by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. please try to save this file elsewhere.”

Originally the problem was said to be the hard drive. But it has been replaced and since we used Norton Ghost to copy it around the error has followed. Does anyone have any ideas? The system we copied to is has the older style hard drives in it and the one that I got to quit blowing errors has the new style. Does anyone know of a registry setting or anything to turn on or off.
