Delegation does not work in Outlook XP

When a user A delgates user B to Review his calendar and inbox, user B gets the error message that the Folder not found. The mail box is on exchange server and both the user are in the same domain and both mail boxes are on the same exchange server

After delegating, you must (or: should) also set the correct permissions per folder. In your example, user A should also permit userB entrance on his/her folder he/she just delegated.
Well, at least that's how i got it working :)

The permissions are set. but even then the same error. "Unable to display the folder, Calender Folder could not be found"

dang .. worked for nme though

how is user B linking the delegated folders? There are two ways to connect to folders of another account:
1) By simply using the menu 'FILE - OPEN - open other user's folder'
2) At the exchangesettings (emailaccountsettings) adding 'open these additional mailboxes'
User B could try adding userA's mailbox there instead of by "opening another user's folder"

By simply using the 'File - Open - Open other user's folder'. dont want to do at exchange level because users want to delegate who ever they want and when ever they want

is it 'only' the calendar which cannot be found or the inbox as well?
