"deleted items" folder gone from Outlook

Somehow one of our users managed to get rid of their "Deleted Items" folder in Outlook 2003. I've tried using the repair feature, reinstalling office (through office's reinstall option), and completely uninstalling office and then doing a fresh install from the CD. I also tried accessing the user's mailbox from another computer (by loging onto a different computeras them and configurig Outlook). This indicates to me that the problem is at the Exchange (2000) server and not at the workstation. We have a W2K active directory structure also. I'm to the point where I feel that deleting the user's email account and then re-creating it is my only option. Any alternatives?

Hi,

deleteting the mailbox, recreate it could be a solution!

Another possibility should be that the folder has be renamed...

outlook /resetfoldernames

could help you to restaure normal names...
