Deleting 2 lines in Outlook 2000

Whenever a user tries to delete an email in Outlook using the mouse, it deletes 2 lines. But deleting it from the keyboard is fine. The mouse is also working fine. This only happens in Outlook. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
